Separation Poem by Sandra Feldman

Separation

Rating: 5.0

Now that you're gone,
Where can I go?
Where can I run?
For Sorrow,
With its silent gun,
Has even stolen,
The light of the Sun.

Oh, the pain this poem expresses - speaks to me - and am hoping that this is just a poetic write about seperation and loss and not what is happening to you, right now! You are such a fine poet and good soul Sandra...in a world where there are so many who are not...reading you refreshes me and gives me hope that not everyone is bad/sly/conniving- -that there are many, poets, just like you! May God bless you and be with you always.

It's odd that a poet can make pain beautiful. That was the first word that crossed my mind after reading this. Was pain beautiful? No, but the way it was written about was beautiful. First, look at the first lines- - questions concerning absence- =gone, going, run. Setting up the tone, setting up the inner scenery. Then the last lines with their rhymes gives me truth in beauty. 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
