Serrated Pages Poem by soren Barrett

Serrated Pages

Rating: 5.0

Locked behind dark storage shed doors
the smell of old rat urine
in gnawed paper shavings
swarming with silverfish
memory's graveyard of holes,
past emotions now bleached
in faded yellowing photos
cobwebs,
dust, roaches
and droppings
all that's left

serrated pages or....chewed old dirty paper? Or....one big stink hole, in any case: it is obvious what a rotting, stinking waste this big pile is. Very clear language and at least one praising and honest response, Dr. Barrett.5 Stars and thank you for sharing
