Seven Seconds Poem by Richard D Remler

Seven Seconds

Rating: 5.0

~~~~~~~~
In Seven Seconds
She notices me.
God, how her eyes shine.
And I have to catch my breath
For a moment,
Watching the sunrise
Of her smile,
How she gives the room color
Unselfishly,
Changing it from deepest gray
To a soft morning blue.
And all I want is a
Cherry Coke.
