Seventeen's Day Poem by Amy Marie

Seventeen's Day

Seventeen today arrived –
In my night-bed with life revived.
She had put Sixteen to rest –
Last night after passing Energy's test.

Seventeen beside me lay –
This morning after Bright's delay.
Fireflies from her path flew –
But my Age still grew and grew.

Since then few hours fled away –
Yet seem only slow to 'quickly' go.

I can really relate to this poem, it reminds me of the early morning i turned 15, i was sleeping then i saw a flash come from my phone, i opend it and it was 5: 05 in the morning. The exact time i was born. Really nice work.
