Shackle Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Shackle

Rating: 5.0

A pure gold ornament weigh in carats.
But I am scared to wear as the phobia
which rings always specially in nights
whether they kill me or rob
and hide me somewhere.
Though it's gold not very imperative
and a heavy garment for the journey.

A nice write; this poem underscores the notion, 'Do you own your possesions or do they own you? '.
