Shadows In The Water Poem by G J Salgado

Shadows In The Water

Rating: 5.0

There was something about that place
The way I felt as I watched those ocean tides
I lost myself inside the waves
Shadows from the water escaped into me
For those moments I was a goddess
There was nothing else that I knew
All that I needed to know about myself or the world lived inside the soul of the shadows
As the shadows of the moon danced with the ocean
I felt alive and new then I knew that all that mattered was what I felt the time I became one of the shadows in the water

Just Reviewed one of your poems on Be your own Editor. Liked what I read. Thought I'd have a further peak. I can empathize with this poem. The sea has a similar effect though, as a man, I see it as my Goddess. Tes, this is a very good poem. Tom Billsborough
