How do you walk in shallow waters
When you need to swim in sea
With a depth of understanding
Of space and liberty
How do you swim in shallow waters
Stifled, chained, not free
Restrained and unable
To be what you want to be!
How do you grow in shallow waters
When around you are small minds
Closed, bigotted opinions
Of the mind-damaging kind
How do you wake to shallow waters
Who helps you see the way
To a deeper, fuller ocean
And a brighter every day
Very nice poem. It's funny how the shallowness of another, limits ourselves.10.

How do you grow in shallow waters When around you are small minds Closed, bigotted opinions Of the mind-damaging kind A poem with a purpose which declares a war against all pseudo people with low aimed opinions around.A very well written poem Keep it up Col Muhammad Khalid Khan
beautifully written, again! good work...I love your style of putting words to the thoughts in your head! You have got some depth, appreciate it really =)
I really love your poetry. I really feel like this sometimes, like I'm put into a box and told to grow into it, but to never break free. I love this, so much.
we really need space to grow. its sad to realize that our potential is hampered just because we can't freely breathe! ! very mind opening..excellent poem.. thank you.. diane
