Shattered Glass Heart - Poem by Ciara Owens

I sew back together my shattered heart
Or tape up the pieces to be whole again,
With you again.
Forgive and forgett my mistakes
So we can start over again.
Please forgive the unforgiven sin
I broke my promise and bled once again
Forsaken promises left all alone again
Forsaken mis-taken for all i've never been
Denying lying all alone and crying
Lets start over again
Forgive the unforgotten sin
I miss you most
When your standing right beside me
Looking plainly the other way
Brokeness emptiness trying to forgett my faithlessness
Lonliness emotionless trying to forgett his hatefulness
All I have left to say is Im sorry
And are you glad this depressions devoured me?
