She Comes In Waves - Poem by kim miller

she comes in waves
and washing in,
her childish hands
her bright smooth skin
silent, pool around my feet

'so flat you lay
up next to me! '
said i to her,
the fragile sea
'rippling where our edges meet...'

she came in waves
and so she went
leaving shallow pools
where once she rent
my heart hot with defeat

Those that tickle the corners of our minds then fill them with speculation. Loved it! (Report) Reply
