She Is My Daughter Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

She Is My Daughter

Yonder you see a little girl,
She is frisky and frolicsome,
She is playing with the Teddy bear,
But her intention is never clear,
She loves to dance with the music
And her movement is rhythmic and unique.
The toy piano is waiting for her,
It knows its time will surely come,
Her eyes are bright and deep
And her smile is naughty and sweet,
'Cartoon channel' is her favourite hobby,
Admittedly her sincere drawing on the paper is a real beauty,
She likes to speak tirelessly and restlessly,
But she never loves to sleep spontaneously,
As she wants to enjoy the living world wholeheartedly;
She reads little and remembers a lot,
She is very wise in her original thought,
She loves to walk in her own world,
When disturbed she becomes annoyed with our world.
Oh! yes, when I see her childish instinct,
I feel extremely proud to believe that
She is my beloved child, she is my beloved daughter.
