She Lays Back Down

Shifting mountain dunes of where I lay
none heard the plea
tearfully made I
ask of thee.
Harkened not this whisper in your ear
would hear winds that
trade the sand
so dear.
Enjoy the labors love reposed the hand
unfolds clutched safely
in the room of sand
so safe.
