She's Waiting For Me Poem by Manonton Dalan

She's Waiting For Me

idling engine on driveway
depleting oxygen for me
so as driver's patience
i peek through my window
dark outside; maybe cold
my cotton coat could hold

i see my daughter smiling
i can't recognize vehicle
was told was a give away
from people who step up
to european top models
must be nice those wheels
