She said it is her God given right
To own a gun to fight,
And it's her constitutional right to own a car
To drive either near or far.
And if either one takes a life
Don't blame the vehicle or gun for the sin and strife,
Instead of blaming the steering wheel or the trigger
Blame the one behind it with hate and vigor.
If a driver of a vehicle is drunk
This one fact she said she will debunk,
If people that are driving a car that maims and kills
It's always the violent people behind the wheels.
It's always the people in the automobile
That's to blame for wrecks and the people it might kill,
She said it's not the automobiles fault
When someone uses it to assault.
What if the driver doesn't have a license or a permit
Maybe neither one they never did get,
What if they are sleepy or tired or underage
Or what if they had some road rage.
What if the driver is on drugs
Or maybe the driver forgot to check the tires lugs,
Maybe the automobile has a defect
Which causes it to swerve and then to wreck.
Or if they forgot to check the air in the tires
Or maybe though the driver had priors,
And to everyone's assurance
Is the vehicle licensed and do they have insurance.
She said the same logic is for a gun and a rifle
People are being to trifle,
It's people that kill and weapons and cars never do
She truly doesn't have a clue.
Automobiles were created to help and never to murder or kill
Police cars and ambulances are used to protect and heal
Love and peace and salvation is Jesus's ultimate plan
Guns were all created by man.
