Shed Your Bearskin Poem by Manonton Dalan

Shed Your Bearskin

there was rumbling
next to my very room
I keep quiet; listen
as emotion run high
like barking dogs
chasing cat up a tree
for good twenty minutes

does volume makes more
effective communication
I wonder; my dad whisper
to my ears while holding
my arm; my mom stare at me
it did work, I have grown

why are we so loud when;
when we get angry or excited
I remember screaming at games
when we are winning; sigh
who could have started this
must be wild beast; a caveman
