Shooting Star
mesmerized by the beauty of the dark
herd her call
led him far from the starts
shooting star
dropped to earth from the skies
as she lead him far from light
cold desert night took his fall
alone and lost faced his choice
a black hole, where he once shone
his cries echoed in the cold of the night
able never to return
never more, never more
Shooting star reminds me of a song, nostalgic & yesterday driven to another place.....

Yes, this was inspired by a song called, " the colors of the dark by federale" it's a nice song, you can look it up. I tried to include the link to the song along with the poem, but this site does not allow that? thank you for commenting.
