Shouting fish
Ears were sharper and
-the eyes were synchronised;
-years ago
-when grey was not hair...
Then, eager for learning
-felt like fat when burning
-each drop was fuel for flame…
-on fire we were like samovar and kettle
-in me shouted steam with bubbles.
Now, each cell
-in marrow and brain
-is breath, dying under water.
"Shout! "
"Shout! "
"Shout! "
I whisper;
-no one hears,
-not even me, myself!
Why are dead all voices?
Where is right and righteous?
Why justice is chained in a shackle?
Hey Anna!
Hey Anna!
Hey Anna!
Tall friend in Texas
-you who took your shoes off
-and we danced; slow-one
-with my head on your chest
-and you talked and whispered
-of: "Writings on the Wall! "

I still am the same
-loyal and have remained
-childishly innocent…
-want to learn…
-Why torture?
-Why murder?
Why comfort is taken
-from poor?
Why gifted to cruel?
Hey Anna!
Hey Anna!
Hey Anna!
I am fish when I shout!
I am fish when I shout!
I am fish when I shout!
Open eyes see bubbles
-see steam of my heart
-see the burning drops
-of brain and my mind!
Why these eyes
- (media and journals)
-are focused on one side?
Are they too, cameras?
-focusing rack style?
-sharp on one and blur
-when showing underdog?
Why flood of blood
-why the wounds all around
-are not seen but a dog in airline…?
Why prince of Saud committing suicide
-princess of Dubai escaping, on the run
-and many wrongly in detention,
-are ignored while Russia
-is starred? For Cold War?

Whisper of eagerness of learning is amazing. Depression provokes thought. This poem is brilliantly penned...10
