Shut Up You Drug Addict (Clean Version) Poem by Paula Glynn

Shut Up You Drug Addict (Clean Version)

Like a shot of alcohol,
You take drugs like it's in fashion,
For you're a drug addict,
Set out to impress,
Those hard guys,
That deal, for you're their bait,
And they are your pimps,
That you'd do time for,
And you lecture me,
For being square,
But you're the drug addict,
You have the habit I deplore.

No police man can stop you,
Or so you say,
But you will get caught,
One of these days.
Because people are murdered,
For the drugs you deal,
An addict to the white powder yourself.

But you are just a slave,
To users, pimps and drug pushers,
You have no money,
Even though you make blood money,
Worth several hundred a week,
Even with it, you would not speak,
A word to the cops,
That you think are chasing your ass,
For you have no respect or class.

You are being used, just like,
Those people to deal to,
So shut up, you drug addict,
And think about the prison sentence,
That is in store.
