Sick Man In Bed

Probably it is cancer
The patient is shifted for medical care
"The cancer means life deal is cancelled"
People observe and lead with belief
The person starts count
The life is dear and he wants to live more
The treatment has taken his mental toll
All relatives and friends make daily call
"Am I gong to die" the tensions grips his mind
All kind of worries descend
The principle of life lights up
He has to maintain composure and keep calm
The visitors peep into eyes
And try to soothe
"You will recover soon"
They add with concern
Simple sickness gets no attention
But such sickness needs mention
Immediate relief is expected
But soon the hope is balied
"My days are numbered"
He murmures and remembers
His eyes search for heavenly abode
He is mentally prepared to ride on angelic wings
