Silence Tonight Poem by Marilyn Jean

Silence Tonight

Often
I Cannot imagine
Pain nor despair
Love and longing
Sharper nor deeper
Yet
Eyes are blurred
Red and itching
Mind is torn
Heart flies
Then crashes
So
Silence tonight
Will solve all
I close my eyes
To love and live
Hiding in the night
Once more
Then
Tomorrow
All will return
And I will hide
The tears on my face
To try again to ignore
Love felt in my heart
