Simple Faith In Your Loveliness Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Simple Faith In Your Loveliness

Rating: 5.0

Wake up, dear friend,
From your lonely despair;
Don’t allow your life
To be hurled into the pit
Of self-destruction;
Don’t reside in the house of death
At a time and age
When there still should be
Flowers and sunlight
In your delicate eyes.

Become a great fighter
For your own wellbeing,
A warrior opposing the forces
Of debilitating negativity,
Make your soul sturdy
And receive the love
An auspicious universe
Intends for you.

When self-esteem is faltering,
I have stored away
Complements and kindness
For you
In the faithful confines
Of a dedicated heart;

There is always someone
Who believes in you.
