Simple Honor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Simple Honor

Simple honor

Very bold and promising
As she was conversing
With full knowledge
And keeping full edge

Yes, she was neither journalist
Nor novelist
But purely human
And normal woman

I teased with her name
And blamed
For suggesting little change
She was apologetic to change at this age

"I have read many of your"
It is simple honor
She was speaking with honesty
I was listening to her aptly

To me she was real teacher
Guide and aspirator
With no suggestion to cause irritation
Such is to be considered rare occasion

This is how we build!
Personal contacts as shield
To propagate views
And remain in news

Simple Honor
