Sister Poem by YURI DURAAN

Sister

You and I
standing together
each her own half
of a full being

You, a mirror image
of my heart
the outpour of my words

Me, the song on your
lips - the lifeline
in the palm of your hand

The years that divide us
have melted to a dropp which
captures your humanity,
your unshaken belief,
the utterance of your soul
Half of me,
yet completely whole.

Well written. I like your style- uncomplicated and no forced cleverness intended.
