Six More Haiku,2 Poem by George Hunter

Six More Haiku,2

Spring is here, grass too
The long wait is over now
You’re the lawnmower.

Peach trees are in bloom
All nature awakening
Spring has sprung at last.

Now it is summer
One-hundred and ten in shade
Stay out of the shade.

Two more Haiku, then
I’ll quit this stupidity
And go make some lunch.

The heat feels so good
After the cold, damp winter
Let’s soak up some rays.

Autumn is the best
Leaves red and brown and yellow
Riot of color.
