Sleep In Peace Covid Free Or Sleep Too Long Too Deep Poem by Terence George Craddock

Sleep In Peace Covid Free Or Sleep Too Long Too Deep

Rating: 5.0

pollen is in the air everywhere it does not fill with fear
hay fever a runny nose irritated eyes where pollen hides
seasonal normal does not fill with fear an irritation we bear
new disease covid 19 pollen in the skies deadly tells no lies
like pollen in the air everywhere but lethal fills with fear
unless a 40% no symptoms not symptomatic where covid hides
asymptomatic carriers biggest fear spreading covid everywhere
to the old the sick to high risk workers doctors nurses a nightmare

the sky becomes an ocean of disease awaiting a cough a sneeze
to spread tiny droplets of covid on a death deadly virus breeze
little droplets floating waiting for you to come along to breathe
little droplets landing waiting for you to come along to touch
so easy easy to spread takes so little to swiftly spread spread
so wear a mask wash your hands don't be as ass dead dead dead

This is really true sir. I liked your way of expression.. little droplets floating waiting for you to come along to breathe little droplets landing waiting for you to come along to touch And waiting for new RNA to manufacture Raising another fleet to bold out the innocent Sometimes life is such cruel that they kill the gentle....good poetry sir.

Well done! The repeated phrases are most effective, and the rhymes very interesting, intended or not! Keep writing, my friend.

An insightful poem so appropriate in this time of uncertainty. Well crafted and conveyed.
