Slowly Learning Not To Be Selfish Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Slowly Learning Not To Be Selfish

Rating: 5.0

Every day define yourself,
The type of person you are,
The philosophy of your existence,
Every day gaze
Into the mirror
Of your thoughts,
It will take your
Whole life
To truly discover
Who you are.

Then the fade away
To the universe of God,
The disappearance
Of physical self.

If you can daily
Give pieces
Of your heart away,
Then you will live forever
In someone's joy and kindness.
