Small Note Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Small Note

Rating: 5.0

I need a flowery-path destination,
an escape from unhappy solitary confinement
in a personal space of negativity.

Somewhere there is immense sunlight
and a summer park filled with laughter
and beautifully sweet people falling in love.

I want a landscape of plush trees
to replace the barren fields of my emotional failures,
a joyous landscape of potentialities and dreams.

I'm going to write a small note in the sand,
possibly a woman's name
and then disappear into a haunting eternity of bliss.
