Snow Day Poem by Richard D Remler

Snow Day

............

It has been a very snowy day.
But inside is where I have to stay.

I have a cough, a snizz, a sneeze,
My elbows jig like moldy cheese..

My muscles hurt because they do,
And my teeth, they ickle, like the flu.

Outside the street is white with snow,
And oh, I really want to go...

Climb that hillside with my sled.
But Mom says I have to stay in bed.

And it's sad when we've had snow all day,
And I cannot go out and play!
