Sleepin' Spiders Poem by Richard D Remler

Sleepin' Spiders

Rating: 5.0

...........

There is a spider on my pillow,
Where a spider should not be.
It's cozy, warm, and comfortable,
And it's looking right at me.

Another bed as comfy
This bug will never find.
And it's dreaming every spider dream
That whistles through its mind.

It's spinning webs as strong as steel,
A silky strand so very real,
So deep within its revelry,
And still the thing looks up at me.

And that isn't fun, not fun at all.
So what if it's just 'itty' small.
It's on my bed, and that's not right.
So I'm sleeping on the couch tonight!

Kicked to the couch by an itty bitty arachnid, Hahaha! Another cute children's story- poem to enjoy. We do not want them on our beds, or on our tuffets. So, for another children's poem on the topic of spiders (there must be something in the water or the air!) , please feel free to read my 'Taking Liberties With Mother Goose.' Yet another instance of a spider frightening someone.
