So As The Green Leaf Sings The Sun Poem by Mary Angela Douglas

So As The Green Leaf Sings The Sun

so as the green leaf sings the Sun
so sing my unfolding emerald angels
coast the air that quickens all
and frosts despair
though in the evening of the greening
still I feel the transparent wave
neverending, just beginning
furling over any page.
Quenching, laving always saving
Alpha and omega, come.
