So Natural Is This Flow Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

So Natural Is This Flow

Too many times,
People of faith put their lives on the line.
To find they have been undermined...
By those still learning to count their fingers and toes.
While hiding behind others to do it,
In the midst of someone's shadow.

It takes a brave mind to think independently.
To make a decision and not follow but lead.
Few with this kind of persona,
Can say they live lives that are obstacle free.
But their word is their bond,
And what they do seems to come naturally.

So natural is this flow...
Some believe it is easy to interfere by throwing,
Innuendos and stones to block their paths.

Too many times,
People of faith put their lives on the line.
To find they have been undermined...
By those still learning to count their fingers and toes.
While hiding behind others to do it,
In the midst of someone's shadow.

To prove nothing but how well,
A deception they do can be done!
