So Selfish Poem by Amitava Sur

So Selfish

Rating: 4.5

I am very selfish a man
So selfish am I,
I don’t know to give anything
I haven’t learned to enjoy by giving.
I haven’t given anything ever
To anybody anything.

I am so selfish and miser
I don't give others anything.
A little smile or even a little hello,
Without spending anything.

No I will not give,
I won't give my bad deeds and vices
Not even my sorrows and pains.
I don’t want to give them
To others in deed.
Because if they gain anything out of it! !

I am very selfish a man
So selfish am I.

You poured out your heart and soul in this write. This is not the act of a selfish person. There is a light shining at the end of your dark tunnel Amitava. Take care and God bless.

A poem of interior acknowledgement can be very hard on oneself, Amitava. This poem is very good, but I know you have shared and given of your heart, you are a good, decent person, Amitava. RoseAnn
