So Very Lonely Poem by Richard Wlodarski

So Very Lonely

Rating: 5.0

If only...so very lonely... to see
What my stone cold blind eyes cannot see
If only...so very lonely...just a sunrise
What this forsaken human being will never see

Evocative and despairing, to be close to something but to never feel or see it, to be surrounded by people but to never feel connected to anyone or anything whether on a materialistic or spiritual level, that is the true loneliness. Wonderful work, something that I can relate to and feel warm in.

Kevin, thank you for your dead-on constructive criticism. And for your honesty. And for the 10. Greatly appreciated.
