Socialist States Which Flag Fail Poem by Terence George Craddock

Socialist States Which Flag Fail

what lessons if any
can be learned
inspired by reflections
upon socialist states
which flag fail
because rewarding
illicit opportunists
who sing support

socialist ideals
power gain loudest
yet produce nothing
stealing confiscating
property possessions
seized from target class

scape goat ethnic race
persecuted cruel exterminated
a flaw in instant seizure
redistribution of wealth
is eliminated educated ability
exterminated genius creativity
talent who create inspire artistic
create business innovative productivity

cannot be rapid replaced
by untrained dull servile minions
skill ability is time process taught
socialist ideals slogans producing nothing
confiscating seizing taking everything
from performance efficient productive ability

can lead to incompetence economic collapse
collapsing destroyed new regime economy
when a state power ruthless ruling system
persecutes imprisons extermination kills
target sector class race minority ability citizens
holocaust ash clouds killing fields mushroom horizons
skeletons litter class race hate cruel death cultures
historic horrific evil empires regime violent collapses

how does it start in modern eras?
insulated ability which has is perhaps envied?
a culture of class race religious division is chosen?
a persecuting group may smoulder or rapid rise to power?
ignoring morality civilized laws a time of terror unleashed reigns?
demons wearing human faces human born flesh shame civilized ideals?
