Softly Winter Lies Poem by Julie Dant

Softly Winter Lies

Rating: 5.0

Softly Winter Lies

Softly
the hard winter lies.
Sometimes obscuring,
sometimes obliterating,
always muffling
the screaming silence.
The heavy wetness
transforms the forest
into a symphony of
nature’s black and white
fine art.
