Someday Knowing - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Someday knowing that life is about to end, I will sit
here writing that moment into my final poem.

Tears may be falling, blinding my sight, yet there will
be all my thoughts just as clear and concise as always.

Letting the world know exactly what it feels like to be
alive and dying through poetry.

A thoughtful and insightful process, taking a lot of
courage and strength of character, knowing that I will
be up to the challenge and always writing.

You have become part of so many others' life.Your life is not yours. There are others who share it with you.You are obliged to them to live and write. For example me, who just the previous day learned about your existence and now I feel you are part of my being, of my world. We do live for the others not for ourselves when we give something to them and you give so much to so many.Your poems on the other hand will live to the eternity. What for to think of our end! Every creature passes by. ''Very leaves are we cast to the ground by wind'' Homer Il,6,146. Kisses. (Report) Reply
