Someone Like Me - Poem by Patsy Jenkins
if I were writing to someone like me
I wouldn't know where to begin
I wouldn't understand my silence
or why I can't let others in
giving support would seem alright
and even some humor as well
but if I answered with nothing
then, it would be hard to tell
hopefully I would not give up
yet, that would be asking a lot
for no one can keep trying to help
if emptiness is all I've got
