Song Of Silent Graves Poem by Matloob Bokhari

Song Of Silent Graves

SONG OF THE SILENT GRAVES
O the slave of greed,
O you who wantonly kill the innocent
O you who bomb the crying babes,
O you who destroy the holy ground.
Your nameless bodies will ever live here;
Here where there are only cares.
The eternal souls will move to the kingdom of heaven
Where they will shine endlessly like sunshine.
Where they will have a life of Christ!
Where they will have a name of Hussain!

COMMENTS: SONGS OF SILENT GRAVES
Jen Walls: When our whole humanity becomes humane in full flowering of love...all suffering will cease to come from the hand of man's ignorant rage. A powerful write indeed!
Karyn Walker: This will surely happen to them! They have robbed us all through the beginning of time. I know my history and saw what they done and today there`s a hellish society of them that are pushing the buttons! They have spent all the money and in order to make money their last ditch effort is to plunder holy places to the ground while babies, children, women and men scream for mercy! Oh, but God will show mercy but it won`t be to them! We all have a day of reckoning and I am SO happy today to be where I am! I`d rather be in poverty than to sell my soul to the devil!
Farzana Altaf: Very touching and meaningful poetry..
Shareef Abdur-Rasheed: Assalaamu alaykum akheeMatloob! Beautiful, strong poetic expression concerning mans injustice towards his fellow humanbeings. Through out the history of mankind untillnow, today! All the technological advancement has not eradicated evil but instead it is often used to facilitate it!
Connie HofackerHemmerichSenter: It has become little more than a game, to them, it seems...and we are the pawns, they move us around the board at their whims and pay us little and charge us more...and mostly for junk that won't even last more than a season. So many homeless, hungry and even those with full bellies starve for nutrition (because the food is often junk, even when it should be healthy) ....Greed is both a crime and a disease...beautiful poem, Matloob!
Michael Edward Clearman: May the madness cease forever...and may the perpetrators of evil and greed be banished from the face of the earth in perpetuity!
Aparna Pathak: May the message of this poem be heard
