Song Of The Succubus Poem by Nathan Coppedge

Song Of The Succubus

Rating: 5.0

1.

You- you are I
Re-reconcilier
As inevitable as strife...
As blind as despairers...

You must recognize your wife!
From the depths of despair! ...

I'm half your wife...
And I'm half of the air-r-

Let we turn lessons of life...
To lessons of terror...
Reasons are rife with introvert error!

As inevitable as strife...
As blind as despairers...

You must recognize your wife!
From the depths of despair! ...

I'm half your wife...
And I'm half of the air-r-

To lessons of terror...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A story from a dream about building a tower for an 'theatrical action epic' with my older friend, the inventor of Uileinian games. The song depicts a lesbian love affair in which I was one of the lesbians in the dream, with a spirit very similar to an introverted male. Inspired after discoveries about calculus, my Dad's thought process, written Chinese, rape, gender, and my brother's thought process. This song was very emotional for me even though it was the Succubus talking.
