Song: Twenty Thousand Lies Poem by Dave SmithWhite

Song: Twenty Thousand Lies

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
Stack 'em up - you've got a mountain.
Spew them out, a noxious fountain,
That taints the civil world.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
The toxic fool continues spoutin',
Half-truths, fake news, distortion, doubtin',
To flag distrust unfurled.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
In careless, clueless caps of shoutin',
Folded arms and peevish poutin',
And the thinning of the herd.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
Bogus cures of bleach reroutin',
From hands to lungs -so crazy soundin',
Like the theatre of the absurd.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
Of bad advice and reckless toutin',
Of dangerous drugs and bathtub groutin',
Up your butt and turd.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
Hopeless tropes of dopes are sproutin'.
Spikes will flatten with a Wac-A-Mole cloutin'.
We'll be shaken but not stirred.

Twenty thousand lies and countin'.
As thrice that number, deaths are mountin'.
If all conventions need their floutin',
How can we trust his word?

I think I can guess who you are accusing of lying. Does his name rhyme with Ronald Dump?
