Sonnet: O My God… Poem by Dr John Celes

The holy God insists in holiness;
The Lord of goodness does things only good;
The Creator is full of truthfulness;
The grace of God is soul's amazing food.

God's wisdom is perfect eternally;
God's knowledge, unsurpassable by none;
God's Words aren't to be taken casually;
Remember God had made all things and done.

Infinite is the Almighty's kindness;
The love of God is foremost in His heart;
Our loving God is full of forgiveness;
But do we love Him enough on our part?

God calls all human beings, His children;
Shouldn't we not join our Father in heaven?
