Sonnet Of Poems-03: The Late Bird Poem by Subhas Chandra Chakra

Sonnet Of Poems-03: The Late Bird

Rating: 5.0

This time

I was no more alone,

For I had got her back,

My poem-

Standing on

A cross road of pages

Yellow with desire

That surges in a moment

When the last leaf had fallen

And the late bird

Had left,

Bidding a farewell

To all those

Mid-summer night's dreams.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes the late bird makes you cry in anguish and yet at some other times they make you burst with laughter.
Life is a crossroad, at every corner there are puzzles to work out and rediscoveries to carry on. In this series I shall try to trace them back, on my own.
