Sorrow Pain Meet In Bitter Heartache Blues Poem by Terence George Craddock

Sorrow Pain Meet In Bitter Heartache Blues

the sorrow and pain of a break up
especially a break up that originated
in a deep pure soul consuming love

is a pain I would not wish on anyone

sorrow pain are soul destroyers
sorrow pain eat self esteem self worth
sorrow pain eat self respect self belief

without self respect self esteem self confidence
how can a person develop inherent precious value
attain confidence healthy feel good happiness?

sometimes people must go
because like a precious flower
they are dying withering inside

with the sorrow of no light no sunshine
the pain of no water drying up from within
a suffocating death no light no sunshine

flowers are not meant to wither die in darkness

people often leave
not because they want to go
but because they cannot stay
