Space Queen Poem by G J Salgado

Space Queen

Rating: 3.0

It all started as a twinkle in my eye
One last escape before I die
Have I already gone too far
Look inside my eyes and you'll see stars
Pull me back if I get too high
I am as far as I can see
I know there's a place left for me

Because I'm a Space Queen

Last night's dream came true
One last thing to prove
A kiss one more last time
My head's spinning on a dime
The world's disappearing from my mind
Maybe it's me that I'll find
Do you know what I mean
When I say that I'm a Space Queen

Because I'm a Space Queen

Drifting through the galaxy
In your mind what do you see
Everything takes away my breath
Have I come to my death

I won't say goodbye
Hold your tears don't cry
No need to cry for me
This is not the end of me

Because I'm a Space Queen
I'm a Space Queen
Do you know what I mean
When I say that I'm a Space Queen

I've known this since I was a girl
I'm simply changing worlds
One last breath before it's mine
The stars are within my sights
Watch me fade as I get high
Fading far beyond the night
A new soul has taken flight
It's like nothing I've ever seen
You already know what I mean

Because I'm your Space Queen

Look inside my eyes and see the beauty of love. Nice work.
