Iknow a couple who live in spain
I think they moved to dodge the rain
In this land an umbrella is a quirk
And they dont take the train to work
They bought a cottage upon a hill
I'm sure the views are quite a thrill
It seems their priorities are just right
They no longer work from morn till night
The food's quite cheap, but better still
They wont go broke paying their bar bill
They bar-b-q most fish and meat
When friends call round to drink and eat
Chilling out with wine and warm sun
It seems their life is constant fun
They made the break they took their chance
At least they did not settle for france
So heres to them and their adventure
I hope the sun shines throughout their futre
And one day when they are old and grey
They will be glad their old life is far away
I only went to Spain once, loved it, wish I was there now, but....... you have a great way with poems, love your style.
Spain sounds like a giant Arizona. I've never been outside the states, but Spain sounds great! Good poem. Fun!
Wish I was in Spain - fed up with this British weather. Good one.
