Spiritual Colors Poem by Sandra Feldman

Spiritual Colors

Rating: 5.0

Poetry,
An inexpensive therapy,
But not for everyone,
I cannot really tell you
What it takes to be a fan,
But a certain luminosity
And a dose of great sincerity
Wants to be passed on,
Friendliness and Blessings
That a poem leaves behind,
Are like divine, heavenly colors
That, so well, the spirit understands,
In conjunction with the mind,
And that speak to you and sooth you,
As no other form of language really can.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written with gratitude and friendship for Lynn Paul.
I borrowed her phrase "an inexpensive therapy", from a comment for another poem and it was that phrase that inspired this poem.

Beautiful. Poetry is magic, for those who write and those who read. A vessel for outpouring of emotions. Love your imagery and imagination. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful poem. It takes a certain state of mind and a certain time to appreciate poetry as well as to write it and it really can do wonder. Thank you Sandra!
