Spiritual Colors
Poetry,
An inexpensive therapy,
But not for everyone,
I cannot really tell you
What it takes to be a fan,
But a certain luminosity
And a dose of great sincerity
Wants to be passed on,
Friendliness and Blessings
That a poem leaves behind,
Are like divine, heavenly colors
That, so well, the spirit understands,
In conjunction with the mind,
And that speak to you and sooth you,
As no other form of language really can.
I borrowed her phrase "an inexpensive therapy", from a comment for another poem and it was that phrase that inspired this poem.
Sandracita, you have this marvelous gift of delivering to your readers the essence of a truth... and delivering it in a captivating manner. My sombrero is off as I bow to you.
Beautiful poem. It takes a certain state of mind and a certain time to appreciate poetry as well as to write it and it really can do wonder. Thank you Sandra!
