Spring At Last Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Spring At Last

Rating: 5.0

The magnoila tree is budding many this year
And the Pope John Paul roses are blooming sooner
Than expected
As the days are getting longer
The moon eclipses the sun in this spring
And not excited to see it live
I watched it on TV
I go on with my business
Hiding from everyone in the basement
I have no reason to be
Today, I'll get some writing done
Hopefully
Waiting for the first spring thunderstorm
