Spring In The Woods (For My Sister) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Spring In The Woods (For My Sister)

Rating: 4.8

The robins look for a morsel of food for their chicks
Hoping their young will live and prosper
The flowers bloom with delightful colours
As the forest fills with beautiful scents
That carry you away
The afternoon sun yields to the horizon
And the sultry air sweeps us into the fantasy of summer
The one that we dreamt of all winter
Knowing it will soon arrive

I long to see the end of this winter and the start of spring knowing that summer is just around the corner. A beautiful poem for your sister.
