Sri Lanka's economy is in shambles today.
Due to Fuel shortage, disturbance in the play;
The country is confronting exquisite inflation,
Due to lack of medicine, people are in affliction;
The nation is drowning in food crisis.
Public life disrupted, country is in a state of paralysis;
The nation is in turmoil, the situation is volatile,
Shaking due to strike action in gentile;
The burden of foreign debt, painted disrespect in the forehead,
Rajapaksa family in power net, honour overwhelmed;
Yet! reluctance to relinquish power is augmented,
The country today is destitute, lonely, penniless, stunned.
