Stand With The Common Man
Stand with the common man
Saturday,1st September 2018
It doesn't matter what I get
but the important thing is what I forget
what I should let others
and what, in turn, I should offer
I must have exposure
to make it sure
that I belong to the mass
to get real belonging and class
I must get close to the people
who daily struggle
for their bread and other needs
we got to concentrate and heed to their woes
I must try to read others
get on well with their dialects
their customs and usages
and bring in their plight on my pages
I must remain committed
not for being equated
with the other luminaries
but stand with an ordinary man with his miseries
