Standing Naked Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Standing Naked

Stepping up and into the vast desert of my soul,
there I am stripped of everything, and standing
naked in front of God.

Hoping to be the person he expected me to be when
creating who I was, living in promises of His hope
throughout life.

Taking faith into my heart, keeping it's flame lit
within through all the suffering I've seen, living
all these years.
